about pj
I grew up in a typically dysfunctional family in a small East Coast city. Like many children, I could see through reality's veil and had a very active dream life. I was also hypersensitive to emotional currents, able to read people very well. That kind of insight, however, can also be unsettling to some grownups, so I learned to hide it.
Like most people from emotionally zip-locked households, especially those prone to sudden outbursts with flying objects, I also learned to hide my feelings. Much later I'd realize that that had consequences too: those feelings were the cause of so much that was wrong with both my physical body and my life in general. Eastern philosophy and Hermetic law would ultimately show me how our inner and outer lives mirror each other so perfectly.
I began exploring the alternative world in the mid-80s when Western medicine could offer me no relief from debilitating migraines. I was pretty much on my own then, learning what I could from books. Within a few weeks of embarking on a cleansing fast and radically changing my diet, the headaches completely disappeared. Continuing on this path, other issues - hypoglycemia, IBS, chronic red eyes and fatigue, and frequent infections - eventually fell by the wayside too.
I've had the good fortune to be guided by some very talented people, including amazingly gifted medical intuitives. For the past fifteen years they've been an invaluable source of information and insight into nutrition, self-healing and the ethereal realm. From them I also learned about the emotional root of physical imbalances. I began working with flower essences and other vibrational remedies to release blockages and past trauma, and my self-awareness grew as my health and intuition improved even more.
about astrology
During the mid-90s, I began a serious study of astrology, a life-long interest. I soon saw correlations between physical symptoms, the supplements my intuitive guides were suggesting, and the planetary movements. In amazement I realized that what they were seeing, or sensing, were the very same energy patterns I was charting.
There is a broad misconception about astrology, connected as it is in the public mind to the Sun sign columns found in magazines, etc. Astrology is really the study of energy - how it ebbs and flows, jams and releases. It helps us understand the unique energy patterns we were born with and to consciously navigate the changing patterns affecting us collectively.
Astrology also provides a level of self-awareness that transcends normal therapy, giving us historical time-lines as well as peak energy periods on the horizon, an advantage in navigating our daily lives. To put it simply, our astrological charts are our personal energy maps.

the key to well-being
To me, the emotional body is the key to health and a happy life. Regardless of how many vitamins we take, how well we eat, how much we exercise, how hard we work, how good we are at our jobs, etc., if our emotional bodies are out of balance, our physical bodies, relationships and lives are too, or will be. It's inevitable.
It's now widely recognized that emotions "charge" both positive and negative thoughts, bringing us what we want - or don't want - accordingly. Flower essences are invaluable in their ability to change our emotional responses, release blockages and promote a healthier mind-body connection.
I feel tremendously blessed to have had the incredible teachers I've had and to now be able to assist others. I love this work! I hope we have the occasion to work together. Thank you for visiting!
